The city served as our open laboratory for our investigations.

Patina, haptics, color, palimpsests, shadows, texture, scale, and atmosphere were among the themes we explored.

All the objects, items, and pieces we gathered during our explorations were compiled into a collection that provided us with an overview of the diverse properties of surfaces.

The result was not a formally correct collection, but rather one shaped by the students’ personal experiences.

We mixed periods, styles, and types, and curated and documented our investigations together.
