Casa al parco
Salzano (VE), 2017Casa al parco
The house is set within a typologically diverse urban fabric, located a short distance from the beautiful Villa Romanin Jacur Park in the town of Salzano. In response to the chaotic image of the surrounding urban context, the project adopts simple and precise geometries, designed to establish a dialogue between architectural elements of the past and the contemporary needs of the clients.
The house consists of a main two-storey volume, oriented longitudinally along the north-south axis. Adjacent to it is a single-storey volume that accommodates technical and service spaces. The proposed urban layout defines the boundaries of the private domain, separating the residence from the street and neighboring buildings. All main ground-floor spaces are organized to face the garden, while the bedrooms on the upper floor are oriented toward the Villa Romanin Jacur Park.
The house is conceived as a compact volume, whose monolithic character is interrupted only at the entrance points. The projecting volume creates a diagonal gesture that shapes the ground-floor layout and connects the covered entrance on the north side with the portico along the southern façade.
