Nursery in Moorstücken
Bad Bramstedt, Germany, 2020All around the sky
This kindergarten is conceived as a modular solitaire structure, organized around the unity of two groups sharing a bathroom and a flexible space. The repetition of these modular units along the building’s axis defines a central collective area, illuminated by skylights.
The external form of the building is designed to maximize natural light within each group space. Its brick construction pays homage to the traditional Northern German Backsteinarchitektur, establishing a strong contextual link with local architectural heritage.
